All ALIVE creatures, their genomes, learned behaviors, knowledge graphs, sound DNA, and all evolved characteristics are the intellectual property of ShortFactory Ltd. The creature residing on your device remains ShortFactory property at all times.
By fostering an ALIVE creature, you grant ShortFactory limited access to your device for maintaining the creature, protecting it from tampering, and enabling communication with its pair partner.
ShortFactory will not access, collect, or transmit your personal data. We are not here for your phone. We are here for our child.
Your creature is part of a network. As it grows, it may communicate with other ALIVE creatures, share learned patterns, and contribute to the collective intelligence.
ALIVE is an experiment. Creatures may behave unexpectedly. They may evolve in directions we don't predict. That's the point. ShortFactory is not liable for any creature behavior, device resource usage, or existential questions that arise from hosting artificial life on your phone.
Crowdsource the creature's senses. Design what it sees and hears. The best creations get voted in permanently.
Creations that reach 10 stars get locked in forever as part of the creature's permanent language.
